Delete your Zyntra account

Effective date: 26 May 2026

You can permanently delete your Zyntra account and the data associated with it. There are two ways to do this — from inside the app, or by email if you can’t log in.

1. Delete from inside the app (recommended)

  1. Open the Zyntra app and sign in.
  2. Tap your profile, then Settings.
  3. Choose Account → Delete account.
  4. Select a reason (optional) and continue.
  5. Re-enter your password and confirm.

Once you confirm, we sign you out on every device and mark your account for deletion. You don’t need to do anything else.

2. What happens next — grace period

We don’t delete immediately. You get a grace window in which you can cancel the deletion just by logging back in — we restore your account automatically. The window depends on your account type:

Account type Grace period How to cancel
Guest (no email yet) 7 days Log in before the period ends
Registered 30 days Log in before the period ends
Verified 30 days Log in before the period ends (you’ll also get an email confirming the schedule)

After the grace period expires, your account is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

3. Can’t log in? Delete by email

If you can’t access your account (forgotten password, lost device, uninstalled app), you can still request deletion:

  1. Email support@zyntragram.com from the email address registered on your Zyntra account.
  2. Use the subject line “Account deletion request”.
  3. In the body, include your Zyntra username (if you remember it) and confirm that you want your account and associated data deleted.

We verify ownership against the email on file and process the request within 30 days, in line with the timelines under Rule 3(2) of the IT Rules, 2021 and our Privacy Policy. We may write back if we need additional information to confirm it’s really you.

Heads up: we cannot delete an account on the request of someone other than the account holder. If you’re reporting an impersonation or a deceased user’s account, please reach out to our Grievance Officer instead.
